Welcome the weekends:) I've been shadowed by this since young. I can vividly remember that I constantly looked and asked myself why am I different from the other girls, I wanna be as perfect as them. I was 4 then. But it has stayed the same and I know it will stay forever. I get negative comments about it often. I get laughed at often. NPSU. I know I'm stupid enough to blog about FOC 11/12 when it has ended 2 weeks ago (23-26 March). Wait, it hasn't ended cause everyone says it's just the beginning. Did you guys have fun?:) Thinking back, NPSU FOC has definitely changed me alot. If it wasn't Ashraf, I wouldn't be joining Prep and be selected as one of the 48 GLs. It was shocking cause I didn't participate much during Prep but I was glad:) What's even better? Gina got selected too:) For these three months, we got closer than before and I'm glad to have a friend like her who is always there for me and know how it feels like to be a gl. In the beginning, it was easy. We had our first meeting and I get to meet my DH Kenneth and the other 11 groupmates who I have to work with for the next three months. I'm really glad to have Enqi and Aizal in Perseus because they were the only two I knew. Living in the West side made me got to know Albert more and yes, he's like a big brother:) I'm not good in designing the flag and thinking of cheers so I did my part by knowing my groupmates well. That's when I got closer to Wan Teng. & I believe she has changed for the better through the three months:D The preparations of FOC is tough. I had to reach home late, unable to communicate much with my parents. I had to neglect my studies and had to go back to school during weekends to prepare for FOC which I had neglect my secondary school friends- Sheridin, Jiachyi and more. I apologize for that. In the second month (Feb), Perseus got closer. As people get closer, there are alway friction between humans. This is where we had disagreements and followed by thrash talks. I don't believe in thrash talks, up till now. Cause I believe in solving the problem by not involving everyone. But I guess Perseus gets stronger after every thrash talk. In the three months, I have learnt compromising. It was only compromise made me know the 12. I know there were many disagreements within the group but we have overcome all:) Our disagreements were scary as it's my first time facing such problems, I didnt know how to solve it and I hate disagreements so I feel like giving up the position sometimes. And it was trial camp, I didn't tell anyone but yes, it was hell. All the pumpings, lecturing, compromising, disagreements, different chracters working together. I was really exhausted. Who will ever understand? But I'm really grateful that Denzel was there when I broke down. I can't remember when was the last time I broke down but I know it's years back. At that point of time, I questioned myself if I'm ready to be a GL. We work our way through and it was a few days before FOC. I guess we had a hell lots of fun at Enqi's friend's place and a few outings. And it was FOC. I know the first day didn't end great for us but we did well for the next three days. We made an impact on the freshies:D I know I didn't perform up to the GL standard and till today, I believe there is someone out there who is able to take over my position and do better. But I am still glad to know all 47 of you, the 4 DHs, Camp Chief Qaiser:) And I have been thinking if I wanna still stay in NPSU. Thinking back, You guys have changed me for the better. You guys have taught me how to lead. You guys have taught me what compromising is. You guys have taught me fun. You guys have taught me what teamwork is. You guys have taught me what family is. I wanna continue to care for you guys. I wanna stay in NPSU:)

Oh my god, someone saves me from my biophy essay!

I shall take 5 and reflect on 2010:

January- Work for US Doggie Bakery for one day, HAHA:) Given a chance, I'll want to work for them again! Took back our results too.
February- Turn 17 and it does bring me more reasons to smile and it stays the same, at least for now:)
March- Alright, what did I do in the month of March?! Join NPSU camp and get to know Kakos:)
April- Poly life starts and it's an whole new experience. Poly is definitely so different from secondary school life. You have to be dependent which it wasn't part of me in the past.
May- Hmmmmm?:) I hope it keeps getting better?
June- I've no idea what I did.
July- Omg, I can't remember either.
August- I HAD MY FIRST EXAM IN POLY:)
September- China
October- China. I have learnt a lot when I'm in China. From being independent to learn how to be patient towards friends and also to be sensitive towards other needs. Should I go again this year?
November- Common test. It was hell. I don't know why I worried a lot for this sem's CT. We'll be taking back our results tmwr:)
December- Awesome month! Christmas Eve with the 10bros, I hope we stay this way:) Prep camp! Countdown with my primary school friends at Pulau Ubin:)

Weekend will be over soon. Welcoming a week without training because common test is in one week's time. Yesterday was Mr Cris' baby Aeden's shower and the-two-months-old is really adorable. Here comes the fun part; To shop for his present:) It was exciting because I never have experience of buying clothings for baby but it was fun with Pam and Belle around when I haven't seen them for a long time. I miss Mr Cris' trainings, a lot. Maybe he knows us better than the current coach?? Nonetheless, hope baby Aeden grows up to be an atheletics as well.

It's December- GB fun camp, ECE society camp, Prep camp, Track camp and Christmas in between the camps. I don't know how am I going to end this year with who, doing what activity, maybe with track mates in movie theatre? But I just want 2011 to be a better one. This year isn't that bad but I have learnt and lost too much this year. I need goals. Maybe maintaining or even achieving a better GPA and a spike for better timing will be my top goals in 2011. Also, to be a better person:) You?

Bottle It Up

Haha those eggs smashing, camo paint super glue all over Eugene's body, birthday bashes, great way to end the tiring training. Tiring yet it drives me to do better for the next training and the next and it continues. Hope I will be committed and not disappoint the coach and seniors, again. Dinner cum supper cum a decent celebration for Eugene's birthday at KAP Mac was awesome. Not forgetting how the guys cut the cake using every method they can think of-hands, burning the plastic knife using lighter for example. Haha, awesome people who will not give up on you even if you yourself give up hope on the blue track.

I guess receiving a pair of spike this Christmas will be great, really great:)

Time flies, December is a few days' time and I have not enjoyed any month of this year, yet. Maybe December ? Homework is definitely piling up, Common test is two weeks away. I guess we do need a breather, dont we? But again, time is catching up. Maybe a break after tests.

I kinda look forward to track on training days now than before because people there are really nice:) But choices need to be made; to stay on track running or doing hurdles? I love both.

Saturday. The last day of the week and I thank God for it because this week hasn't been a smooth sailing one. I pretty screwed up my AEL (exam) paper. I miss one week of trainings because of the paper. I realized I have made the biggest mistake in poly life on Tuesday. I have to face COMPRO for this semester. I couldn't do DEL practical during lab session yesterday. Do I like Biomed Eng even?

Friday made it better by supporting Gina in her hockey POL-ITE, catching up with Felicia, Camellia. Having dinner and shopping with Sheridin and Vanessa made this week so much better:) I know weekdays will be in 2 days' time but it's the even week, hope things will be better this week. Maybe hurdles made it a lot better. Let some lecturing from the coach be the wake up call.

Here it goes; Marina Barrage with the girls was awesome. Very. It felt like we were back in secondary school. You can go really crazy, mad, laughing non stop. Be yourself, awesome! You Are More Than Awesome!

The Last Song with Sheridin, Stefanie, Vanessa and the guys and ended off the day @ Swensen's was really great. Plus plugging in Sheridin's itouch; Mariah Carey's Whenever You Remember blasting into your ears, for a moment, you felt like a secondary school kid where teachers taught us with details, the teachers would shout at us when we made mistakes, we could chat with teachers we are comfortable with after school, where best friends are made in CCAs and many more. While NP is a really nice school too but if I had the chance, I will definitely make secondary school life a better one. I miss everyone there:( Are you girls and guys fine out there?:) Cliche it may be but this is life. We have to move on to different stages of life. Move on be it we like it or not. Chalet, Minds Cafe, Awesome

Chalet was greattttt! We stayed up the whole night to play 'mind' games which frustrate the hell out of us and Aloysius loved the expression of ours and Indian poker-Change Change Change! Second day was even better when the JCs people came in. Watched How To Train Your Dragon and it was cold in theatre yet the show was superb:) Headed back to the chalet and the forfeit continued.... We should have more chalet in the future:)

Went Minds Cafe with Yun Ying, Priscillia and we all agreed that we had fun! We started on Pictionary but I ended up drawing Yun Ying and Pris. So, we have decided to play True colours, Snatching over 2 dog bones, Ugly Dolls-Ugly Ugly Ugly!, Monkey and 3 Roosters chasing each other's feathers and we had a good time shouting in the cafe. When In Rome

FOC 10/11 was awesome I suppose. It impacted me more than I expected and Kakos was awesome. Kakos is the first sub group whereby we bonded so well on the first night after my so many camps. And I was very lucky to be in the same group as Gina and Xueyi! Hephaestus!

Bro's commissioning parade was awesome. Sakae Sushi with the girls was awesome. Watching Man Utd VS Liv'pool with Dad, bro and bro's friends was awesome. Liv'pool lost was NOT awesome. They have to wait:( Buying the wrong size t-shirt was not awesome, i'm passing it to my 9 year old cousin! This is not awesome-I've not pack my bag for the 4D3N camp and it is 10.07PM now. I hope 24th-27th will be awesome. So tell me will it be awesome to see Gina for these few days? Haha, kidding if I say No. Life has been smooth sailing so far and I 'can't wait' to step into NP! I am missing Sheridin, Jiachyi, Felicia, Stef, Char, Min Xian, Kath, Geraldine, Limei, Vanessa, Melissa, Pamela. I think I can hardly see my friends who are studying in NP, let alone those in JC, NYP, TP, RP, SP. 24th-27th!

Orchard with Sheridin, Jiachyi and Felicia and i had fun with them! It's always crazy with these 3 girls around. We had our lunch at Taka's Yoshinoya wait, this is not the main point-Does Ion has Yoshinoya? We played Truth or Dare on the train and I felt guilty for some questions! Mac n Chesse at New York New York. We saw a flying plastic cover from L1! I'll definitely miss these 3 girls!

This picture shows my worst sunburn ever!!!!! I couldn't really laugh, I would feel the pain when showering, I couldn't carry my school bag, I would definitely scream when someone hit my back!, ouch!!!!! But I love peeling my skin for one whole week! Can we go Sentosa soon?:) Today I heard a convo between a kid and his Dad. Because his Dad lost the screw of the kid's specs so they have decided to send it for repair. Kid, 'Dad, since it's spoil can we make a new one?' Dad, 'Next time.' Kid, 'What's with you and your next time?!' He's barely ten years old but he spoke out how I feel! Wow. Maybe that's a little rude towards his Dad? Ok, very rude.

The movie Dear John was awesome but not to the rest who watched it with me. Why?! Headed to Vanessa's house, rooftop to be specific, for cup noodles, chats and star gazing. Of Different Paces

Firstly I didn't do a good job in teaching the sec1s drill. I've no idea how to communicate with them! So dear Sec1s if you see this; Please talk to me!!!!! because I'm with you during drill camp'10 (winks) I will kill myself if they don't want to be opened after drill camp. Secondly thanks to Mel-lah (Melissa's bluetooth name), we are halfway through the encouragement board! Cut&Paste in school, Cut&Paste in the library and got scolded by the librarian because we were cutting the transparency. Thirdly I need to get the GB drill camp'10 materials done asap! I need to I need to... Fourth i'm overwhelmed. Ever heard of people come and go? Let me add, they will come again but for a short period. Bye!
